AMELIA POMPEII

AMELIA POMPEII
Raised at 8,000 feet on a dirt road in the Colorado mountains, Amelia Pompeii's life has always moved like a story: seven-foot snowstorms, barefoot summers, and neighbors who kept peacocks.
Homeschooled until middle school, she spent those years in a nontraditional education that emphasized dance, improv, acting, horseback riding, and art.
Amelia later earned a degree in Journalism with an emphasis in prelaw and a minor in sociology, grounding her storytelling in psychology, research, and observation.
Her work blends intimate interiority with voyeuristic psychological realism, exploring contemporary womanhood through mythic frameworks and high-emotion, high-stakes character arcs. She writes with the curiosity of an adventurer and the precision of someone trained to study people and their patterns.
Today she lives in the city but never lost her mountain ferocity or her appetite for new experiences.
She shares her home with her husband and their four-year-old daughter who is an excellent collaborator in crab doodles, imagination development, and all of the barefoot wild adventures that inspire the stories.
Well… not ALL of the adventures...
